3. Saranda, Albania
Saranda is one of the most important tourist centers of Albania. This lovely resort will at times remind you of the Caribbean, because, if you leave the city and go to the north, you’ll come to an oasis of untouched nature, where the green olive trees grow next to the turquoise blue, immaculate sea, far from crowds on hidden beaches.
Diving in the Ionian Sea in Saranda is special attraction, not only because of sea creatures such as hermit crab, squid, clams, sea snails and octopus, which are not shy at all, but also because of the numerous wrecks of sunken warships and cargo ships, as well as underwater caves and coves. Borshi is the longest beach of the Ionian Sea, which stretches the length of 5 km located in the north of the Saranda’s District.
