11. Stonehenge

Stonehenge is one of the wonders of the world that still bothers many historians as to who has set up these stones, and why. Stonehenge is a structure from the Neolithic and Bronze Age, situated around Amesbury in the English county of Wiltshire.

When we look at the whole picture, we can see how Stonehenge and its uniqueness is not only made by these sculptures, but also the entire area, like famous Stonehenge Avenue with length of 3 km that connects the attraction with the River Avon. It should be noted that by the beginning of the 20th century most of the rocks that constitute Stonehenge, were not on their original locations. The reason is that over time, increased number of visitors moved the monoliths by climbing on them.
