10. St Martin’s Island

St Martin’s Island is a small but picturesque island of the coast of Bangladesh. It’s the only coral island in Bangladesh and it’s only 8 square kilometers in size. The island’s population is only 4000 people, but when you think about, that’s actually a lot for just 8 sq km. During high tide the island literally shrinks and becomes only 5 sq km in size. St Martin’s is a popular tourist destination, and there are 5 different ships that do daily trips to the island. Tourist often like to try and walk around the coast of the whole island because it’s so small and one can usually do that in about 2 hours.
