9. Boga Lake

From memories of war to peaceful things – the Boga lake. This lake is rectangular in shape and is believed to be more than 2000 years old. Geologists say that it was most likely created by rain water accumulating in the crater of a dead volcano. However, there is a local legend that says that a long time ago the people from a local village killed and ate a deity, which later appeared in front of them in the shape of a dragon. To show it’s rage and anger the deity caused an earthquake that made the village cave in and a deep lake formed in its place.
