4. Vasto, Abruzzo, Italy

Vasto is a historical town on the hilltop whose old town dates back from the 15th century. This is a place that exudes elegance and tourists are attracted by its beaches covered with white sand.

The main party center during the summer is beach at Vasto Marina, and up the hill there is old town and its landmark Castello Caldoresco. There is also Romanesque cathedral called Cattedrale di San Giuseppe and four museums inside The Renaissance Palazzo d’Avalos. One of them is archeological museum. Vasto is worth visiting during the Festival of Siren, which is organized in the last week in July. It is one of the most interesting places in Italy with a rich heritage that will leave you speechless.
