4. Starry beach, Maldives
Maldives are a magical place located in the Indian Ocean. The thing that makes it so special is an extremely unusual occurrence that makes this place unreal. The wind and waves sometimes bring billion of phytoplankton from the sea, and they give off a bluish purple color because of the reaction that occurs in their cells.
These micro-organisms are usually present in the open sea far from the cost, however, when sometimes waves bring them ashore whole beach as well as waves light up. This phenomenon is known as bioluminescence. Given the effect that this phenomenon has on people, it is comparable to observing the northern lights in the sky. Considering this, if you decide to visit, you will experience something truly unique that you can’t see anywhere else.
