This name was given because these animals were the first ones there while others couldn’t reach due to hard accessibility. However, for our happiness and satisfaction it is now open to everyone who comes to this island.

Its beauty is one of the most stunning in Greece and in general, we can say that is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The beach is covered with fine gravel and the turquoise blue sea which calls back everyone who saw it at least once. Because of its cleanliness, it is decorated with blue flag and it was recognized as most beautiful beach in Europe several times. It is just incredible, and you have to visit it at least once.
