2. Denali National Park

It is truly wonderful and unique place situated in the heart of Alaska and it is considered to be its top attraction. This park covers an area of six million hectares, and it is located on McKinley, the highest peak in North America.

This is a real wild paradise on earth, and bears, moose, wolves and many other animals call it their home. Annually this park is visited by 400,000 tourists. What is interesting about this place is that you don’t have to sleep in a tent to see wild animals from up-close, they are everywhere roaming freely. Charles Sheldon was the one who fight for this place to be turned into national park and succeeded in 1917. It is nature at its best, and it is definitely worth seeing.
